Bill Forsyth, 23-yr Solutions Architect, conceives of theHub, a single, API-based platform that would cover billions of business cases out-of-the-box.

Development on theHub begins, with the strategy of building it out over time through the creation of apps on it that require general services.

Jan 2009

theHub becomes operational

TheHub becomes operational for the first time, running just 3 small web services (Files, People, Orgs) and 12 API endpoints.

Aug 2009

GameDay, the first app on theHub, developed

GameDay, a mobile app, and the first app built on theHub, is completed to bring fans real-time data on players, teams, colleges and universities, conferences, stats, schedules, and social media feeds.

theHub grows to 13 services and 102 API endpoints

theHub functionality expands to 13 major services (e.g. People, Orgs, Requirements, Places, Agreements, etc.) and 102 endpoints.

SBA loan origination web app developed on theHub

An SBA loan origination app is completed on theHub for Live Oak Bank that greatly simplifies and streamlines an otherwise complicated SBA loan origination process. (The concepts became the basis for what eventually became nCino.)

Maxium app goes live on theHub

Maxium goes live with an MLM commission system on theHub that tracks member trees, pulls data from a third-party gaming platform, performs month-end calculations, posts commissions, and reports on them.

International payments MVP completed on theHub

International remittance system developed on theHub, with support for SMS (text message) remittances in partnership with Trans Global Cash.

Mortgage '07 app completed on theHub

Mortgage '07 developed on theHub that scrapes foreclosure notices online, parses relevant data, structures it, and stores it for reporting and browsing through the app.

Saltwater Guide Network goes live

Saltwater Guide Network goes live on theHub that enables online users to find, contact, and hire a fishing guide for saltwater fishing trips, and the Network owners to track transactions and activity.

May 2015

Conversion of theHub API from XML-RPC to REST completed

With the rise, and subsequent dominance, of REST API web protocol, theHub endpoints were changed from their original XML-RPC implementations, to proper REST API endpoints.

Box It Up web apps completed on theHub

"Box It Up" apps are developed on theHub that allow customers to use an app to seamlessly store clothing or other small items temporarily in offisite storage, and have them returned at a later date, and that enables the company to manage and track all activity and storage.

Purposly web and mobile apps completed on theHub

Purposly platform is developed on theHub that allows agencies to manage digital content, create "mobile sharing apps" to promote and collect donations, share those with content to social media, to manage and track campaigns, and collect donations.

Created and released theHub for Google Workspace, with libraries/SDK's that enable easy access to theHub from Google Apps, with a large catalog of Sheets that sync with theHub and enable creation of AppSheet apps on theHub.

Squan Taxi in Manasquan New Jersey went live on theHub with a comprehensive business system with three apps: Dispatcher, Driver, and Reconciler.
